
The second installment in The Boss Baby franchise was directed by Madagascar’s Tom McGrath and was written by Michael McCullers, who penned the first flick. The Boss Baby 2 takes place 30 years after the first film sees the now-adult Templeton brothers brought back together when the new Boss Baby enlists their assistance in her efforts to thwart a professor who is attempting to eviscerate childhoods around the globe. Newcomers include James Marsden, Amy Sedaris, Jeff Goldblum, Eva Longoria, and Ariana Greenblatt.

The follow-up sees the return of Alec Baldwin voicing the titular character as well as other notables from the original, including Lisa Kudrow and Jimmy Kimmel. The film is a sequel to the successful predecessor from 2017, The Boss Baby, which made $527.89 million off a $175 million budget and was also nominated for several accolades, including the Best Animated Feature honor at the Academy Awards.
